 Task-1

Answer:

The given data shows the changes in the number of guests and their levels of satisfaction during the pre- and post-refurbishment period of Ashdown Museum.

An overview of the table shows the remarkable rise in the overall number of visitors because 18,000 more people visited the museum after the year of its renovation. The two pie charts indicate the decline in guests’ dissatisfaction and the surge in their satisfaction.

According to the graphs, there was a higher number of people who were unhappy with their trip to Ashdown Museum during the years before its refurbishment. However, these figures changed significantly after the redecorating of the building. The dissatisfaction percentage went down to an average of 50 percent. In contrast, guests’ fulfillment climbed up from 30% to 40% (satisfied) and 15% to 35% (very satisfied).

In conclusion, it can be said that the reconstruction is a great success for the Ashdown Museum, which helps the museum to be more appealing to the visitors and gains more satisfaction from those visitors.

Task-2

The following writing sample was written very professionally by Syed Woares (a Band 7, 7.5, or 8 score).

Many governments think that economic progress is the most important goal. some people, however, think that other types of of progress are equally important for a country.

Discuss both these views and give your own opinion.

Answer:

A country's progress is often measured by its economic growth. Therefore, many governments focus more on their economic progress than on other aspects. However, some people have an opposing view, as they believe that political stability, security, social conditions, proper treatment, and good education are equally important for every country's advancement (progress).

On the contrary, several governments pay more attention to economic development than other aspects of life, as they believe that economic growth plays an important role in developing a country. When a country's economy develops, it ensures business prosperity and new job opportunities, and the government can collect more funds through taxes. This money could improve other sectors such as education, health, infrastructure, and military services.

On the other hand, even though economic growth is essential, governments must ensure a better living standard and a green environment. The economic condition of a country will not grow without the support of a secure social condition, a better political condition, and an advanced educational system. Investors will not place their investments in countries that have insecure political conditions, such as Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria, etc. Moreover, it will be very difficult for a country to improve its industrial and trade activities without a skilled and educated workforce. Therefore, the growth of the economic sectors should be aligned with other important sectors.

In conclusion, it is undeniable that economic growth plays a vital role in the development of a nation. However, I believe that besides economic progress, better education, social welfare, security, and political stability are equally important for the sustainable development of a country.
